Robati and Godfrey are brothers who both finished vocational training school and learned the trades of carpentry and electricity, thanks to the support of our ABCD donors. They are now living together in Morogoro and they are both getting work in their trades!
In between trades jobs they are working together to sell goods on the street…this is a huge occupation in Tanzanian towns and cities. Usually it is imported used clothing, shoes, purses etc. which is a very big part of the Tanzanian economy. So both boys are productive, supporting themselves and living their lives together. A good result!
Here is a photo from several years back of the boys with their mom, Francisca and sister Arini (who is also just now going through vocational training school).
