That’s What Friends Are For: Another Successful Fundraiser!

My friends Joe and Delaina are long-time big friends and supporters of ABCDreams. Joe is a fine musician and has formed a band called The Weekday which played recently for the first time in public as a fundraiser for ABCDreams!

It was held at a local restaurant and many, many people attended which created a lot of excitement. There was an auction of Tanzanian art and crafts that had been brought back after the visits to Tanzania over the years. And Delaina was very busy selling raffle tickets for great prizes donated by local businesses.

The music was terrific, the atmosphere was jumping and a great time was had by all. Finally, we learned later that enough funds were raised to fully fund one of ABCDreams breakfast programs!
