At our recent ABCD Fundraising Garden Party this past summer, several children who attended with their parents went to the art table activity and made great drawings and messages to some of the students in Tanzania.
I mailed their drawings to Sebastian, our man on the ground over there, and he made sure that they were delivered to the Tanzanian students, who were delighted to get the mail from Canada.
I just received an envelope from Tanzania with several drawings made by the Tanzanian kids for the children whose drawings were sent to them! This communication is wonderful and it would be great if more of it happened.
If you want to send a greeting, letter, postcard, artwork or any message to an ABCD student in Tanzania you can! Just visit the website menu ‘Projects’ and go to ‘Language Development’ and we’ll make sure your message gets to the student you want to communicate with.

Nice one Frank. I used to do this with primary twinning. Maybe I’ll revive it again.
