Joshua is attending Makomu Secondary School. He lives with his mother and father but his father is an alcoholic and does not provide for the family. His mother tries to make ends meet caring for her own small farm with two cows, other people’s cows and any work she can get in the village. Joshua enjoys the science subjects in school, and football. He dreams of becoming a doctor one day.
