Esri is attending Makomu Secondary School. She lives with her auntie who sells fish at the local market. Esri was taken in by her auntie when her parents separated and abandoned her. Her auntie and husband also have two children of their own and struggle to make ends meet. Esri likes school and the science subjects. She is a netball player with her friends.
