Winifrida is attending Makomu Secondary School. She dreams of being a teacher and likes mathematics and chemistry. Winifrida’s father has passed away. Her mother, Epifania, is trying to get by keeping the small farm going with 2 cows, 1 goat, a chicken and 6 pigs. This is a lot of work. She also tries to earn by doing work for other villagers. Winifrida’s 4 older siblings are trying to make a living in different parts in Tanzania. Her mother cannot pay her school costs.
