Mary John has completed her program at Green Bird College, Mwanga, in Early Childhood Education and is seeking employment at nursery schools. We wish her all the best in her career goals.

Report from October 2018: We met Mary when she came and introduced herself to us in a very mature and responsible manner. Mary graduated from Form 4 in 2013 but due to poverty she could not afford further studies.
She grew up on a small subsistence farm and managed through effort and with help from other family members to finish secondary school. She impressed us with her initiative and persistence in seeking us out for help.
Mary wants to be a primary school teacher and she has now entered Green Bird College to continue her studies for teaching.
