Magreth came to the ABCD program in 2008 having finished Grade 7 in primary school. Her parents had died in 2005 and she was being cared for by local neighbours.
In 2009, she moved to Moshi to grandmother’s house and ABCD started paying for her apprenticeship training at a tailor shop. Three years later Magreth became fully trained as a tailor. She is a single mom, still living with grandma. ABCD has purchased a new sewing machine for her and she is now self employed working out of the family home.
Magreth has been supported by ABCD for many years and her supporters can celebrate her success and are invited to transfer their support to another ABCD child.
