Audifasi’s Story

Audifasi has just graduated from university with his Masters of Business Administration in Marketing!

Audifasi came to the ABCDreams program in 2008 as little boy joining a group of friends to come and find the wazungus (white people) to ask for help. Lynn and I were two of those wazungus volunteering with Rotary at the time, and we added Audifasi and his friends to the program by taking their photos and stories home to start fundraising. ABCDreams was not an official charity at the time, but a not-for-profit.

Audifasi was being cared for by his aging grandpa so he needed help to go to school, which was something he dearly wanted to do. And so, we were able to help him through primary school, secondary school, and then his undergraduate and graduate degrees. Audifasi was able to pay for his own room and board with an internship during his Masters program and now he is all set to begin his career.

We are so proud of him and wish him all the best in his career.

By the way, Audifasi is joining his ABCDreams alumni in contributing to the Rudisha Kidogo Kidogo (Giving Back Little by Little) program to help new ABCDreams students with their school costs!
