Irene is the second child of 5 in this struggling family that lives in one of the villages that ABCDreams supports… Mbahe Village, Marangu West Ward of the Kilimanjaro Region.
Irene’s family would like to express their sincere gratitude to
ABCD TZ and ABCD Canada for providing them with assistance
as it allows the family to raise animals and increase the family’s income. Irene’s family earns their living by raising pigs, goats (5), cows (2) and chickens (6).
At home Irene likes to help her parents cook and also helps by cleaning the yard of their farm plot and also inside the house.
On weekends Irene meets her friends Glory, Vanesa and
Lorine and play the game of ndiki (hopscotch?) together after finishing homework and home chores.
Irene likes science subjects including Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. Her dream is to be a doctor one day after completing her studies.
