I was happy to attend a wonderful presentation that my friend Lynn, who is also the ABCDreams treasurer, gave to the 55+ club in Schomberg. Lynn spoke about Tanzania, and the work of ABCDreams while showing a wonderful selection of photos, and teaching us all a sampling of swahili.
Also on display were a collection of Tanzanian musical instruments, pictures of some ABCDreams students, some Tanzanian art and crafts, and even delicious mandazi (Tanzanian donut-like goodies baked by Lynn herself) accompanied by Tanzanian fruit!
Everyone learned a lot about ABCDreams and thoroughly enjoyed the talk…and the goodies. Thank you to Lynn!
