Last Sunday was a glorious day for the annual Canada Africa Partnership Ride.
22 charities participated and there were riders from all over the world supporting their teams virtually by riding from their own locations!
The ABCD Dream Peddlers team once again participated although in this strange year we could only muster a team of two, Lynn and Frank! We were a small team but mighty!
We met the Newmarket Zoomers group at our chosen ride location in Tottenham, Ontario. This wonderful group of folks, who love to be active, agreed to ride with us and support ABCDreams. We set off together and cycled 30 kilometres in two hours on this fine Sunday morning, then met for a pleasant physically distant gathering hosted by Lynn on her deck and beautiful gardens.
Lynn and I have set a target goal of $5000 for our ride and at this point we have raised just over $3500!
