Some of the schools that ABCD are supporting are fairly remote and far flung, but we are making an effort to visit each of the schools in Marangu West to see the ABCD projects and to bring a gift bag of donated books and soccer balls.
It’s an honour and eye-opener to meet these hard-working school leaders and to see the conditions in which they work. We have a lot of respect for their efforts to help the children in their care.
It’s a struggle for everyone. Respect for current gov’t. They are trying to change from an informal (as in the past) to a formal economy in one fell swoop. We wish them luck.
