During our last visit to Tanzania in February of this year, ABCD entered into an agreement with Makomu Secondary School to help with the funding of a computer classroom.
Usually it is schools in urban centres of Tanzania which have computer labs so we are very happy to be helping students and teachers in the rural forests of Kilimajaro Region have access to IT technology and the internet for teaching and learning.
ABCD has already funded a computer classroom in a vocational training centre, but this is our first in an academic secondary school learning environment.
