There were many inspiring workshops for the students to attend and I had a full house of 20 students in each of my two workshops. I requested to be located in a computer lab so the students could learn all about the work of ABCD by getting a tour of the website.
This was followed by an art-making activity whereby the students created large postcards to be sent to ABCD children. The students chose an ABCD child and wrote a message to that child on one side of the postcard and made a drawing on the other side. These cards should be on their way to Tanzania as I write.
It was a real honour to work with such socially conscious and inspiring young people.

Nice to see the kids using the school computers for something other than watching skate-boarding and checking out prom-dresses!
