We had 145 in attendance at this years Art Day! ABCD children, families, guests, and our team of volunteers enjoyed a great day in the garden.
The volunteers had been assigned to families to pack bags of donated items and school supplies and personal gifts. This was a great way for them to connect in a more direct way with the community.
There was a clothing bazaar, a shoe bazaar, and a book bazaar for the families to browse and choose items they needed. The local Marangu Drama Group performed as did the local mamas. Awards were given to children who did well in school last year. A delicious lunch was served and everyone had a wonderful time.
