Lynn and I were very happy to be invited to a recent meeting of the Rotary Club of York. These Rotarians were wonderful hosts and we very much enjoyed their fellowship, hospitality and the excellent dinner. We appreciated the opportunity to deliver a presentation to the club about the work ABCD is doing and were absolutely thrilled when we were told that the members have agreed to a join in a matching grant proposal with the Rotary Club of Toronto West and the Rotary Club of Newmarket.
This will enable ABCD to continue its work funding children’s school fees, establishing libraries in schools and paying for breakfast programs in schools. We are so fortunate to have such committed partners in our work.
