Here’s a piece of good news. Part of the Art Day celebrations was the giving of a soccer uniform to all the ABCD boys. These uniforms were donated to ABCD by the Aurora Youth Soccer League. Soccer, or football as it’s called in Tanzania, is very popular and many English league teams have fans in the Tanzanian population.
So, our boys were thrilled to get a soccer shirt, shorts and socks. Joseph and Godfrey couldn’t wait to try them on. Sebastian, our man on the ground is planning to organize some football matches for the boys at a local football pitch.
