I just received some photos from Africa about the breakfast program that ABCD is funding at Kisuluni Primary School! This is a pilot project which could continue after assessment is done when we return to Tanzania in January 2011.
Mr. Lyaruu the Head Teacher indicates that the program is going well and that the children and the community are benefiting. It’s good to know that since the children are receiving breakfast, there will be more food available to the families during other difficult times.
